I am a Hometown Girl, born and raised in Grayson County. Today, I live on a 160-acre wheat farm that my father was planting himself as a young Farmer. In the late 1800’s my great grandparents settled in Enterprise, Texas an area now known as Pottsboro. They had traveled from Illinois to Texas in a covered wagon in search of “A Better Life” and they found it.
Our family has lived and farmed here for over a 120 years and much like our Ancestors before us, we are keeping that tradition alive today. The land, what it can produce and provide, was our way of life. I understand the meaning of hard work and what a person’s property represents in terms of lifestyle and investment.
